Nearly 7 percent of Ukrainian refugees in Poland are elderly individuals who find it very difficult to adapt to a new place.

The PCKK Foundation organizes Polish language courses and workshops on using new technologies for seniors.

“People who come to us often feel lost in their new reality (…) That’s why building small support groups is crucial. Polish seniors become their guides, helping with daily life. This way, Ukrainian seniors develop their skills, and Polish seniors feel appreciated and can share their experience and knowledge,” said Jolanta Ratyńska, Vice President of the PCKK Foundation.
