The Polish Organizations Pooled Fund (POP Fund) is announcing the call for applications for the 4th edition of the grant competition. This is a special edition focused on organizations providing aid after the flood in Poland. Applications are open to foundations, associations, rural women’s circles, social cooperatives, volunteer fire departments, parishes, and religious organizations (regardless of denomination) operating in areas affected by the state of natural disaster.
The 4th Edition of the POP Fund Grant Competition is launched. Grant competition budget is 1,000,000 PLN
In the 3rd edition of the POP Fund grant competition, the budget is PLN 1 200 000. The funds will be distributed among:
- 20 small projects (with grant amounts up to 50,000 PLN).
What projects can expect support?
Funding can be granted to projects that support flood victims and align with one or more of the four priorities. These priorities include:
- Rebuilding the capacity of flood-affected non-governmental organizations and volunteer fire departments (OSP) in providing services to the population, including crisis response and coordination of actions between entities.
- Support for parents and caregivers in flood-affected areas through the organization of childcare and after-school activities.
- Support for individuals with specific needs, particularly elderly people and those with disabilities.
- Preparation for winter conditions and securing homes for the winter.
Which organizations can apply for the grant?
Only organizations actively operating in districts that were affected by the state of natural disaster in September 2024 can apply for the grant. These include:

Organizations can submit applications in Polish exclusively through the grant management system here: Witkac.
Important Dates:
- Competition start date: October 14, 2024 (Monday)
- Deadline for submitting applications: November 4, 2024 (Monday). After this date, submissions will no longer be accepted.
- Planned announcement of results: November 20, 2024 (Wednesday)
