Nearly a month ago, the most severe flood in decades devastated southwestern Poland. While recovery efforts are ongoing, support will be needed for many months to come. Numerous local organizations are actively working on the ground and are in urgent need of support. That’s why the 4th Edition of the Polish NGOs Fund is aimed at supporting non-profits from the districts affected by the natural disaster. More details about the competition will be available on our website on October 14th!
Until now, the POP Fund has focused on supporting organizations working to assist Ukrainian refugees and the host communities. In light of the dramatic situation in southern Poland, the 4th edition is focused on helping those affected by the flood. This initiative offers grants to organizations from districts under a state of emergency, looking to assist local communities with building repairs, winter preparation, and replacing equipment damaged in the disaster.
The full competition rules, along with attachments, will be published on October 14, 2024, on popfund.pl. On the same day, the grant application process will open through the Witkac grant management system.
The donors of this edition are the PKO Bank Polski Foundation and Meta. As in previous editions, the POP Fund is operated by the Polish Center for International Aid. We are very grateful for support.
More details about the 4th Edition of the competition will be available soon.
