The Polish Organizations Fund (POP Fund) announces a call for applications for the 3rd edition of the grant competition to support the inclusion of refugee children from Ukraine into the Polish education system. Grant competition budget is PLN 1 200 000. Eligible applicants include: foundations, associations, rural women’s circles, volunteer fire brigades, parishes, and religious organizations (regardless of denomination).
In the 3rd edition of the POP Fund grant competition, the budget is PLN 1 200 000. The funds will be distributed among:
- 12 small projects (grant amount up to PLN 50,000)
- 3 medium projects (grant amount up to PLN 200,000)
Which projects can receive support?
In this edition of the competition, applications can only be submitted in the priority area: Support for the inclusion and continuation of education for refugee children in Polish schools. The following priority activities are indicated within this area:
- “Saturday schools” enabling Ukrainian students to learn the Ukrainian language and maintain continuity of education in the Ukrainian system while attending Polish schools in person.
- Language and educational support for the oldest students in upper secondary schools and high school graduates.
- Activities supporting the integration of Polish and Ukrainian students in schools – projects must be implemented in partnership with educational institutions or local authorities.
- Classes on functioning in the local community for parents and students – projects must be implemented in partnership with educational institutions or local authorities.

Organizations can submit applications in Polish exclusively through the grant management system here: Witkac.
Important Dates!
- Start of the competition: June 18, 2024 (Tuesday).
- Online informational meeting for applicants on preparing a grant application will be held on June 26, 2024 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM.
- End of the application period: July 10, 2024 (Wednesday). After this date, applications will not be accepted.
